Liverpool chief Parry slams UEFA's Gaillard

Liverpool chief Parry slams UEFA's Gaillard
    tribalfooball.com - September 30, 2007

Liverpool chief Rick Parry has slammed UEFA boss William Gaillard.

Parry said: "Gaillard has a habit of engaging his mouth before his brain."

Gaillard has challenged the merits of foreign ownership of clubs such as George Gillett and Tom Hicks at Anfield.

Parry added: "To comment about people he has never met is inappropriate and unhelpful."
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I thought Parry did speak out against Galliard in the aftermath of Athens?
in any event, Galliard is a twit of the highest order.

He may of gave a bit of lip service to the press. But he and the club totaly failed to defend us the way Utd defended there fans after the trouble they had.

This was put to him at the RTK meeting and he had no decent answer.

I love how in their very different ways, both Parry and Benitez have got the stinging retort down to a tee. They've basically perfected saying "xxxx is an idiot"

He did defend us in Athens. But he didnt do it too much because we were not blameless.
Some of our fans behaved like complete morons. A small minority, but still enough to cause trouble

Ofcourse we were not blameless. I was more on about the supposed list of incedents that UEFA had, that no one ever got to see. I think the club should have went after UEFA over that.

They forced platini to come out and revoke whay gaylord said, so I think the club covered that particular biased accusation quite well.

Yeah we didn't do what the scum or chavs would've done; go crying to any news org who'd listen - primarily Sky News - about how harshly they've been treated.
