Ashton much more useful then Crouch, Mcarthy at a big club would be interesting, Martins is Ok, Very quick but hit and miss wit his finishing.

Now I don't rate Kuyt at all. Nothing player, but those listed above wouldn't improve us IMO.

Still think Crouch has the quality to be effective for us.

The key is to SIGNIFICANTLY improve on Crouch/Kuyt, like hw Torres is significantly better then Bellamy and i don't think any of those on that list are the big improvements we need.

of course with the money we have right now. the comforting thing is that we are capable of spending in excess of 20 million on just one striker which means come next transfer window we should be looking at the top strikers.its just a bit dissappointing cus i believe if rafa had been wiser with money the last 2 seasons we could have been looking really lethal up front this season.

I'd have Kalou. He needs work on his decision making and finishing like a lot of young attacking flair players but the raw ability is there. In a way, I suppose he's quite similar to Babel.

Are you mad...Kalou is just pace and nothing else, the guy is pure ****e. At least Babel has shown glimpses of skill and finishing ability to go with speed...I'd rather have Djibs back than Kalou, at least the ****er scored occasionally
