    Sami Sami Sami Sami Hyypia?

    LFC legend.

But does he need replacing in January? I think he does, I was disappointed we didn't sign a central defender in August.

I think his time is up, much respect for his LFC career, but he's becoming Pellegrino-esque.

    Sorry Sami

Despite what others have been saying, i don't really think he's been that bad.

Sure he hoofs it, but so does Carra, and Carra's hoofs are generally to no one.

I'd sign another central defender in January, one with some pace, but i'd still hold onto Sami.
      On the Ning Nang Nong

And the Monkeys all say Boo!
      There's a Nong Nang Ning
      Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
      On the Nong Ning Nang
      All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
      So it's Ning Nang Nong!

Sami will always be solid whenever he plays but his lack of pace is costing us lately as we are defending deeper than usual.

We badly miss Agger's distribution and pace and are paying the cost for not having more back up in his position.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

I agree, we sit too far back when Sami plays. Need a new young pacy CB. Micah would do

It's not a witch hunt. Read the post again, I didn't blame Sami for tonight, in fact I didn't mention tonight.

We need a better ball playing central defender.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Bye Bye sami, he's been past his sell by date for 3 seasons now, why the feck Rafa wasted 10+ million on Babel when a centre back of the price would have been a better purchase.
                We come not to play.

because if we did we'd clearly be hunting a sissoko

It's not about tonights game. We need a quicker and more skillful central defender who can pass the ball instead of hoofing it away.

Hyypia has been excellent for us but his time at the top is over.
