In terms of our goal scoring capability, when it rains it pours.
As soon as we hit 1, the binds on our game come off and we run the ball freely

The other team were late so the match didn't finish until twenty to six, still 2 hours before kick off. However, by the time he'd ****ed about taking the nets down and getting changed then we'd driven home to Sale through the traffic (four miles takes about twenty five minutes), it was twenty past six. When I got home, the house was lovely and warm and the wife was just serving dinner. At that point, with the rain still pissing it down and a drive to Liverpool taking about an hour, for the first time ever I thought "**** it, I can't be arsed going"...

Until the match started I felt really guilty; apart from anything else, the ticket had cost me £34. As soon as we kicked off and I watched the game on Sky my emotions changed and I was so glad I'd copped out of going...

That's a terrible admission I know and I expect to get loads of stick for it but for once I didn't go "through the wind and rain" and, sadly, I don't regret it for one minute...

I hope every single one of them wakens up this morning feeling totally ashamed of themselves.
Damn straight. You expect a bit more from millionairre professionals. Its beyond me how a team of that calibre looked so 'second division'. No passion, fire, hunger or vigour. I hope I never see something like that again from a team in an LFC shirt.

What the **** were they doing out there?? Carra was ****, Gerrard was ****, Momo looked like the worst footballer of all time.

I seriously hope Rafa layed into every single one of them after the game. They looked like they didnt want to be out there
yup apart from maybe Reina and possibly Finnan, everyone was poor. Momo was appalling, completely at fault for the goal. Stevie was absent and Carra and Sami were all over the shop.
It was a very bad day at the office, but thing is, rather than it being just a one off, it seems to have been the case ever since the Pompey game. We seem to be playing in the hope that something may happen.

Why should the fans turn up when the players don't?

By that logic, during the HT interval at a game where there's been little or no atmosphere, the players would be within their rights not to come out for the 2nd half...

It wasn't meant to be logical DJS, it was an emotional outburst based on the fact that our players looked like school kids out there.

If you want logic then here it is: The players should turn up because that it what they are PAID to do and they are not paid to leave at half time. The fans should be refunded their ticket price when the they do not receive what they have purchased, specifically the right to watch a performance by Liverpool FC.

The way we play now actually reminds me of the way we played the last months before Houllier was sacked.

I'm not saying that Rafa is as bad as Houllier, he is much, much better, just that we are playing the same **** football without any heart or passion at all.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

We're not playing like we did under Houiller. We are playing as BAD. But our tactics and approach etc are far far different.

                              Surely you can see that?
