    Babel missing in action...

    Can anyone tell me if he's injured or been dropped?

    He hasn't played in our last two games and I believe that's a mistake.

        What a waste...

        He should have been bought on - his close touch is one of the best in the team and furthermore the "exuberance of youth" factor could have woken up the rest of the team as he plays with no fear.

          I taught he would have been brought on last nite. Even though he hasnt impressed me in any game this season (bar the goal he got against Derby) hopefully he will come good............

            He was being rested to keep him fresh so that we can battle for a UEFA Cup place in May...

                  Who wouldn't have underestimated them? they're a 2 bit second rate french side. Most of us would have picked a very similar team bar 1 or 2 debateable positions. Not rafa's fault, not gerarrd's fault and not crouch's fault. Just a bad performance all round - we'll still win the group.

                    yup agreed all round bad performance from team selection, substitutions...and the players themselves- gutless. top the group???we are a joke right now mate
