If a player is being picked on because he isnt liked then thats out of order because basically that player isnt ever going to win. But if a player is getting abuse because of his substandard efforts on the pitch then I think thats fair enough.

You'll also find though that for as much as one player gets a bollocking, they'll get the same support. How many times will you hear, for example 'Come on Momo lad, thats it, go ed, oh youre ****in **** you'. Now that is encouraging but then the player ****s up and is bollocked.

What do you mean by substandard effort ? I think we played poorly last night, nothing to do with 'not wanting' to put the effort. That's the view from the armchair where I was, so if you tell me some players didn't put the required effort last night I'll believe you. But that could also be down to confidence.
