What do you mean by substandard effort ? I think we played poorly last night, nothing to do with 'not wanting' to put the effort. That's the view from the armchair where I was, so if you tell me some players didn't put the required effort last night I'll believe you. But that could also be down to confidence.

Sorry, nothing personal, but that post is bang out of order IMO.

I've been to matches where this club has frustrated the hell out of me, language like you wouldn't believe. But I'm not a racist and no ammount of frustration will turn me into one.
Racists are racists and they should be banned from football, you don't become a racist because you are pissed off with a player.

        Charming.

Otherwise I agree entirely. Hate whingers at the match. Save it for the pub or the car on the way home. Not at the match.

****ting a fellow Red wouldn't have been my response though.
Just cos they are a Liverpool fan doesn't mean they are above a good ****ting

There's always blokes who go on and on at the game. Bloke behind me one game moaned about Riise throughout the whole game and he wasn't even feckin playing!

                      Substandard effort means exactly that.

If they play poorly then more effort is required.

It's bang out of order to excuse racist remarks with frustration at a poor performance. If someone gives a player racist abuse it is NOT because they are frustrated at their performance, it is because they are a mindless biggot who has no place in a football ground. Not withstanding the fact that it is now illegal to make those comments.

If someone want to moan, that's their perogative, they're a bit of a dick, but hey, there's a **** load of dicks about. If someone want to hit someone over it, that isn't their perogative and they are a ****ing **** of the highest order. Well done half-wit, you da man. :whatever:

I don't think there was any racist abuse was there? I think it was Fredo making a rash assumption just because Sissoko is black and he was getting some stick...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Didn't hear any on the TV, perhaps the match goers could fill us in on the racist remarks.
