Was sat in The Lower Anny Rd last night, saw a guy leave with 80 odd mins on the clock and as he walked down the steps from his seat he took off his scarf and threw it in the direction of the pitch.

Stewards looked a bit bemused.


Obviously didn't want to get snarled up in all that tunnel traffic and must have been a tad hot..

I've heard plenty of Scouse accents from people leaving early - of course, maybe they've all moved out of town. Whereas when I do 400+ mile round trips, I don't leave early even though an extra half hour sitting in traffic is not an enticing prospect.

Sorry mate, I never commented on it cos i'd be very surprised if it happened. And if a red hit another red anywhere close to where I was sitting last night, I wouldn't be having that, i'd guess most people here or at the game are of the same opinion....
