Everyone's being a bit harsh. Let's look at some positives:

We're still in all 4 competitions
Unbeaten in the league
Best defence in the premiership w/2nd best goal difference
Potentially in 2nd place with our game in hand
We've finally got a superb squad with quality cover for almost every position
One of the best managers in the game
Wealthy new owners
A new stadium on the horizon
0 premiership goals conceded other than via penalties
An awesome backbone of Reina/Carra/Gerrard/Torres which would make any club enviable!

Are we really in that bas a position?
So we lost to Marseille - big deal, it's not as if we're out of the CL, there's a long way to go yet. And we've played poorly in recent weeks - again so what?? We've been picking up points whilst playing poorly - something we don't normally do. Far too much knee jerk bobbins and over the top analysing going on since last night.
