Huh, so you're he's not **** nor a ****** but yet you're calling him a prick. Thats harsh

Anyway, he's not that bad but he's not good enough for us. And now he's developed the same attitude Cisse had, there's only going to be one outcome...

Crouch lovers will be mourning come the end of the season...

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Spot on mate, this thread started off OK but quickly turned into a disgrace. Wouldn't have been surprised to have sen a thread like this on Red Cafe.:whatever:

A lot of barking from little doggies in this thread.
You shouldn't let your dog post in here. It's very hard to understand it.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

2 bits stand out of this interview for me

People yelling stuff is one of the hazards of the occupation but Crouch, it is fair to say, gets more than most. "I went to Miami with a few mates after the World Cup," he recalls. "I used to go to America and nobody would know who I was but this time we walked past a bar and someone shouted, 'Oi, robot boy!' I carried on walking but my mate stopped. 'Isn't that Mickey Rourke shouting?' he said. And there was Mickey Rourke doing the robot dance. That's when I knew I had made it"

"I remember after I had signed for Liverpool, I didn't score for 18 games and all the jokes, the constant sniping, that really affected me. My friends and family were telling me it would all work out but, to be honest, I stopped believing them. I was so frustrated a part of me was thinking I didn't want to be at Liverpool any longer.

if crouch thinks he's made it then and thats it then i can't see rafa being too happy about it (as i am not)

and also, who wants to have "made it" because a celebrity knows you for a stupid dance

PLUS, the one person who played you for 18 games straight when the country was laughing at Crouch doesn't even get a mention.

now i'm sure that the journo could "leave out" any quotes about Rafa, but with the guardian being fairly reputable as papers go i can't see that.

i am more and more convinced he'll be playing for a UEFA cup team by the end of january
TBH if you need an explanation of where it might be going wrong with Peter Crouch you should take a look at the cover of his book. I don't know if it's been mentioned before on here but the guy's been airbrushed to within an inch of his life!! He looks like a member of a ****in boyband. How deluded can someone be? You wouldn't even know it was him.
He thinks he's "made it" and couple that with a girlfriend who basically wouldn't sit in the same room as him if he wasn't a PL footy player it's pretty obvious the player has become affected by his lifestyle. I agree with whoever said he suited our style a year or two ago. He was bought to hold the ball up away from home but since the arrival of Torres, Babel etc he now looks a bit surplus to requirements. I'd take 10 mill in January like a shot. Babel could be 4th striker and the cash could go towards a top class winger or centre half.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

It's probably got some interesting stuff about his early days, he must've had a real hard time as a youngster.

                        Anyone got it?
I'm not sure about buying his autobiography either, I expect it'll be one hell of a tall story. LOL

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Benitez loses his patience as he tries to cash in on defiant Crouch
