what's with the aggro towards this question? totally valid if you ask me.

          1. we're a massive club who have just been taken over by american tycoons. thay will want a return in terms of winning big. if it was still moores in charge of the club rafa would have as long as he likes within reason. pressure is on now.

          2. it's a fair question to ask about any club - what will scum do after ferguson? arsenal after wenger? jesus - even spurs after jol?

          3. there are questions about rafa's ability to get it right in the league that just aren'y going away. the two biggies are whether rotation causes more problems than it solves (i think rafa can get it right there) and, more importantly, has rafa the man-management and motivational capabilities to inspire a very talented group of players?

          4. there's a type of football that i think all fans love to see being played - attacking, flowing, exciting. do rafa's teams ever deliver this?

with that in mind, why shouldn't we ask who could take over if rafa lost the dressing room or who is out there that we would like to see manage us? and there's no easy answer.

IF Rafa left the replacement has to be someone who can put together a winning team that plays attractive football in the way Liverpool used to (and still occasionally do).

So IMO that would mean someone like Hiddink or Ramos.

              Apparently Fredo is available.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I started a thread about this asking this question a few weeks ago and took some stick for it. Admittedly things were rosy in the garden back then - but I think we should be keeping an eye on things....... Just in case like......

would settle for just the winning team part.

If Rafa did leave and I had to pick a replacement......Wenger, if we could get him. The very last name on the list, below Slur Alex and Satan....Sam Allardyce.
