I come on to this site everyday a couple of times a day and can't believe some of you still dismiss Rotation.. I'm actually getting angry at how ignorant some of you are. Yes that team was strong enough to beat Spurs, that team was strong enough to beat ANY top side in the world but the players don't know each other on the field to make a winning team - why??? - ROTATION.

Its not motivation IMO.
Rafa's motivation techniques are very advanced. You don't have to be a hair dryer to get results.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

What have I said nowOriginally posted by MattD View PostWhat a daft thing to say. There are 10 other players on a team that have to take a bit of responsibility as well.
Thank god you and AFII aren't our management team.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

From everything I've read from interviews with new players and so on Rafa's training revolves around being fit and being organised - mainly as a defensive unit. There's not a great deal of attention paid to the attacking side of the game which is where playing with the same people regularly is important for a variety of reasons.Originally posted by Quinncy View PostThey train together all week.

The Captain's role is to fire his team up, rally the troops, get them going etc Gerrard doesn't seem to be able to do this at present.Originally posted by Red_hot View Post

Alls we want is a bit of drive and determination, unfortunately Stevie 'the medias darling' Gerrard can do wrong in some peoples eyes."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

This is a good point actually. When Lampard was having a bad run of form (pretty much the last 3 yearsOriginally posted by Marky19 View Postunfortunately Stevie 'the medias darling' Gerrard can do wrong in some peoples eyes.
) the media were on his back - in terms of chavski and England, yet Gerrard seems to escape such criticism outside Liverpool fans themselves.
Will be interesting to see how he performs for England........

None of that post evidences that rotation was to blame though. You could have ended the post with 'BANANAS' and it would have been no weaker an argument.Originally posted by sid View PostI come on to this site everyday a couple of times a day and can't believe some of you still dismiss Rotation..
