    Rafa continually looks to strengthen his team regardless of past performances, whether it be rotation or replacements, Like it or not that's Rafa's way. Any player who doesn't achieve will be shown the door that goes for the boss as well of course.

    Whatever is really happening with Crouch is unclear and we can specullate all day long about it but one thing is clear Rafa will only play him when HE thinks it's right for Liverpool FC.

    From what I've seen and heard of Crouch he always seems like a good professional. He can't have been happy at not making the squad and I can see him getting frustrated but storming out sounds like he's had a go at Rafa and I just can't see that.

    Mind you if he did then he'll be on his way I'm sure

      What! and Kuyt and Crow are?

      Kuyt has started most games this season and still failed to score and before anybody starts to witter on about work rate etc, kuyt was bought to score goals.

      Crouch is first choice for England when in the team but fourth choice for club behind a journeyman who cost nothing and a Dutchman is doesn't know where the net is. No wonder he is pissed off.

            Crouch is first choice for England when in the team
            He is actually fourth or fifth choice behind Rooney, Owen, Heskey and maybe Ashton.
            Just believe and you never know what will happen.

            According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

              The thing is ,he has been complete and utter **** each time he has played this season.

              I was a big fan of Crouchy, but he has looked very very poor this season. Obviously its a confidence thing, but if he thinks he deserves a walk up start......he should ****ing play like it.

              Voronin and Torres looked superb at times yesterday.

                              My tuppence worth

                              Crouch had a very good return last season and therefore isn't the donkey that some are making him out to be, however his appearances whenever he has played this season have been shocking which is the sole reason he hasn't had as many minutes as the other strikers. Torres picks himself, Kuyt's work rate & attitude will always give him an advantage in Rafa's eyes and despite the Crow's impressive start to his Liverpool career, I don't think we will win teh league with him as a starter week in, week out.

                              I would like to see Babel start up front with Torres to see how a genuine "pace & power" partnership would work together because with all due respect to our other strikers, I don't think anyone has taken their chance to stake a claim as Torres' first choice partner
