Pennants a good player. The last 10 games of last season, and the first few games of this one, he been right up there with the best in the league. He's not always going to play at that level, but he's worthy of the shirt at the moment.

Have to join the minority here, everyone knows Pennant is no world beater but he has been no worse than most

Everyone thinks he's gash and yet he's been as good as any (Torres aside) for the last dozen games - the poor form we have been in for the past few weeks is very little to do with him IMO & there are several bigger players who have played considerably below their / our expectations and deserve criticism before JP

Wingers should provide goals and assists.If they are not doing that then they are worthless to the team.He provides very very little of both.

I love Kuyt but he is in the same boat now and questions rightly have to be asked.Goals pay the rent.

Very true. a nice option off the bench I think most of us would like someone of superior quality as No.1.

I very much like Yossi too but I'd have him as a utility squaddie.
