    Kuyt out injured

AMSTERDAM, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt will miss this month's Euro 2008 qualifiers against Romania and Slovenia because of a hamstring injury, the Dutch FA said on Monday.

PSV striker Danny Koevermans will replace Kuyt in the squad for the match against Romania on Saturday and against Slovenia on Oct. 17.

Romania lead Group G with 20 points. Netherlands also have 20 points from eight games while Slovenia are fourth with 10.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I doubt that it's a minor strain. He would have stayed for the second game if that was the case.

          That's my opinion anyway.

Torres and Voronin worked vs Spurs, should try that again against the Bitters

Voronin's performance against Spurs was excellent. Based on merit, he should be Torres' preferred partner.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

It's not like Kuyt ever had explosive pace!

Dirk Kuyt has dealt Holland's Euro 2008 hopes a blow after ruling himself out of their forthcoming qualifier against Romania.
The Dutchman picked up a hamstring strain as a second-half substitute in Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday and will now miss his country's clash away to the Group G leaders.

However, the Reds striker is still hopeful he will be fit for selection when the Dutch entertain Slovenia next Wednesday.
