You may well be right, it was a while ago and Im sure he said that then gave his word to Roman then the Liverpool job came up. He kept saying he wanted to be like Shanks and Paisley.

He definitely did and according to some he was under consideration until his touchline sprint at Old Trafford (for which I was there for, under duress, laughing my head off) when Parry decided he "wasn't LFC material".

          Allegedly.

And Rick would've been right - he's not ****ing LFC material. He has a great CV but I don't want LFC to be "win at all costs". His teams play horrible, direct football, he has zero class, zero dignity and is the antithesis of what a Liverpool manager is supposed to be.

yep, I remember reading that very same thing in Guillem Balague's book. Let's be honest, his antics are not traditional Liverpool, even though he is in the Shankly mould in terms of being outspoken and a motivator.

not for me. he has no class and as for the style of play he indulges in, we may as well get sam allardyce in with a posher coat.

I would say it was Moore's that disapproved of Jose's dance at Old Trafford. Good on him. That prick can take his cheating football and f*** right off as far as I am concerned. Rafa has sorted him already why should we contemplate going backwards.

Imagine Mourinho as manager of LFC taking on, say, Real Madrid managed by Rafa.........the usual verbals between the two, and us having to be on Mourinho's side. FFS. It'd be sickening. Truly sickening.

Rafa's bemused me lately but I love almost everything about him. He is class, as a man and a manager.

Mourinho is a good manager but has no class as a man and no dignity. To have him "in the trenches with us" would be ****ing galling.

Thank God it's all a load of bollocks.

Which is better - a dignified manager who is trying to do the right things and an honest bunch of players trying to win in a match in an honest way or a slimey loud mouth manager and a bunch of diving cheating *******s?
