He's better than Riise, IMO

He is much more direct, unpredictable, fast, played brill against us (well who doesn't) He is exactly the sort of player who is built for the Premiership- he just needs guidance from a top class coach like Rafa

There is no way they are going to want to include Young or Barry in any deal, I would bite their hands off if they agreed, but it is not going to happen, especially at the bargain + £3m -£5m IT woul take nearer + £10m IMO

if insua is as good as some claim i think aurelio, arbeloa and insua can happily compete for that position. Don't necessarily think we'll replace him with a left back.

Riise gives us an option at LM. If we get rid of him, we will need someone to play there as a) Leto is not ready and b) Kewell will never be available.

Silva or Nasri maybe? There must be a fair few quality options out there. Question is not only are they good enough but who will want to come in Jan and can we afford them? Not an easy task, but it would be great if we got a class LM in.

Not only that but personally, I still think we'd need a LB to come in if Riise were to leave. There's been no sign from Rafa that Insua is ready for regular first team duty yet, Aurelio is injury prone, and Arbeloa might be needed at RB if Finnan should be unavailable.
