Thanjk you.

Just finished reading it and i have to say, it's refreshingly honest and quite detailed.I personally love reading biographies of all types, sports people, movie stars, singers etc.
Gerro explains in great detail the turmoil he was going through during last summer and, until now,i didn't understand him.He is really as mad about Liverpool as all of us.He is a genuine fan living the "dream",with a god given talent that puts him in the top 3 or 4 players in the world.
In my my honest opinion,he is in the my top 3 of all time greats with Marradona and Dalglish, and proberbly by the time he hangs up his boots will be my all time favorite player, ever!
He explains in great depth his thoughts on Houllier,Eriksson and Benitez, and also the his love for liverpool fc and the city. I also liked reading his thoughts on his current team mates, and again,he wasn't afraid to mention players in the current squad who are just not upto it.By the way,his honesty about Walcot being picked for the world cup is great!
My favorite bit was the very last page where he closes the book by saying, and i quote,"One day i would love to manage Liverpool.I want to stay at Anfield in any capacity.I'm learning under Rafa and looking to do my coaching badges.I just want to help Liverpool.Me and Liverpool Football Club are a love affair that will never, ever end.
I would recommend it as a good read for all liverpool fans.
who is gerro? do you mean gerrard? I thought only the star called him gerro
Strongly disagree. It is one of the best books ever written, the thoughts of a Liverpool hero.

The book was hot stuff here in Norway earlier in the week. Apparently he wasn`t fund of Leonhardsen, and said he was jerk. Witch is strange, as Leo has a very good reputation(sp), and always seems like a nice guy.

Come off it?
One of the best books ever written? My 3 year old nephew would have made a better stab at it, and it's even worse when you realise it's actually written by a journalist (who'd I hope have some kind of writing qualification, even if it is an E in GCSE English!)
And how many bloody times does he mention Toxteth, terror, riots, lad done good, cheeky chappie etc. It's ****!

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'
