        To be fair to the lad, he probably knows he ain't Liverpool standard either.

        I'd love the offal website to run an interview with the forgotten man, I'd love to hear his ideas on motivation and what makes him want to try and succeed on Merseyside.....

              Remember him scoring on his debut against Leeds away. I didn't really understand at the time why he looked so shocked.....

                Sorry to go back to this thread, but I've just started Stevie's book the other night.

                I was surprised to see that Stevie had lost his cousin, Jon-Paul, at Hillsborough (aged 10, and the youngest to die that day). I hadn't heard anything about this before and Stevie goes on to say that he sees Jon-Paul's name on the memorial every day when he passes it going into Anfield.

                Very sad indeed.

                RIP Jon-Paul.
