Exactly. It would be criminal if we f*cked up this transfer. Mascherano is a truly world class player. He's a little genius and I wouldn't swap him for any player in the world in his position.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostPlay the game. But whatever it takes, make sure his is ours for the next 5 years.

masch was a lucky bonus. he is the sort of central midfielder utd or chelsea would pay 30 million for. we should tie him up in the summer. selling momo for give or take 10 million means 7 million of our summer budget. Plus the lad is loyal - he knows he owes us. It'd be really stupid if we didn't buy him. Worst case is 17 million pounds

Javier Mascherano has revealed his dream to still be at Liverpool when the new Stanley Park stadium opens in 2010.
The Argentinian international has impressed in the Reds' midfield since his move from West Ham United in January, and he's hoping he's still in the early days of what will prove to be a long and successful Anfield career.
"I'm very happy here. I feel settled and would like to play at the new stadium," he said.
"I love playing for Liverpool and if the manager wants to keep me then I'd definitely stay for a long time.
"Liverpool are one of the world's biggest teams. They've got history, tradition, success and great fans."
Mascherano is also unfazed by Rafa's rotation policy, adding: "I know if I want to play I need to work really hard. We have good players in every position so no one has the right to start every match."
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drill...71011-0815.htmJust believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

We we will have to sell one of Lucas or Sissoko. No one of them will be happy to sit on the bench and almost never play. They are second/third choice behind Gerrard and one of them.
I would rather sell Sissoko than Lucas.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

We shld do what's needed to get Mash and off-load Momo. Momo has been erractic and well below par this season.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostI think Sissoko might still be here only because Masch isn't tied to a long term contract and once that's sorted he won't be needed anymore.

macher is a must keep......
macherano--------soon to be argentinian captain a real class act
lucas--------------legend in the making, brazilian league player of the year
steve-------------going nowhere even though he could do with rediscovering form
alonso------------ important squad player if steve, mach tie up the centre spots
momo ------------ bottom of the listand if someone has to be sacraficed then it has to be him unfortuntely
four players for two slots is surely enough????"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

yup, but we have him for 9 more months, no need to rush in just yet, it appears that a permanent move to us would suit all parties. I think we should wait until the FIFA rules are clarified before finalising the deal.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostExactly. It would be criminal if we f*cked up this transfer. that Kia dude seems really up front, nothing shady about him at all.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostDo you really think that Kia hasn't already worked out how to get rich while bypassing the rule?Referee Lubos Michel said: “If my assistant referee had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty, and sent off goalkeeper Petr Cech.”
