    Postal Match Ticket Applications......

Is the postal application service offered by the offal site a credible way of buying a ticket?
I would love to avoid the mess of buying tickets the day they go on sale to fancardholders....
Has anybody here bought tickets this way?
    Cheers

I've never failed to get one via post, however I only tried about half a dozen times and that was a few years ago when the PTS first started up. I stopped doing it after I received a shed load of Cup Final ticket applications for a fan club in Peterborough or somewhere by mistake. Obviously I took them back etc but it kinda damaged my trust in the whole postal set up.

Mate of mine is posting his application for Everton tickets today, so people do use it.

The last time I got tickets (a few years ago), I faxed my details to the ticket office. Got 4 tickets for Arsenal at home, no problem!
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Do those of you who have had success by postals post them when they ask? Eg, a couple of days before the selling date?

That's what i've done and never had joy.

I have used postal apps many times and never been let down. However, tried for the Spurs game and didn't get any. I was able to get some from another source but will have to do a rethink in future.

I know they aint scarce, but there's still far more who apply than there are tickets.

I've sent off the blank cheque, self addressed envelope and letter of application, to arrive on the day they request...and i've literally never got any joy.

I was just wondering whether there was something i could be doing differently that might help...aside from slipping in the 'cheeky tenner' which i've heard about, but never known how genuine those stories are.

I have no bother doing that mate.

But if i end up doing it on a regular basis, they're gonna rumble me really...

And for the record, i bet loads of people do that anyway!
