Born in Salford in the 1970's.

United were **** and Liverpool were great.

If there was no Liverpool, I still wouldn't support United. It would probably have been Bolton or maybe City.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

If not Liverpool then probably Boro although I'd have fought that and gone for Hartlepool or maybe Darlo?

No other footie fans in my immediate family so no influence there

I guess the primary reasons are that my dad was an LFC fan and I was born in Liverpool so it was inevitable that I would be an LFC supporter. I also went to my first game before I was born, my mum n dad went when she was about 4 months pregnant with me

            Liverpool residents need only apply.

Born into a red family. Nana lived in Wernbrook Rd Anfield, could hear the kop before I ever saw it or stood on it. Dad took me aged 7. I can't contemplate any other options.

My old fella was a blue nose and obviously a complete cock, my old dear left him when i was very young. I supported the reds to **** him off and it helped keep the **** out of our lives. He gave up trying to get in touch and we moved on. My old dear has no concept of football but still to this day loves the fact that i support Liverpool. Some of my fondest memories as a kid is sitting in front of the radio in my Hitachi shirt listening to European matches on Radio 2.
If Liverpool did'nt exist i guess i would of been a West Ham fan as my Grandad on my mums side was from Walthamstow.

probably from circa 1981 ish, i seem to remember the World Club Cup final against Flamengo and we got walloped, i felt really sorry for them. Also my older brother and a lot of cousins were reds and my favourite uncle was working in Liverpool at the time..it was a natural progression.

If it werent the Reds? dunno, maybe West Ham, was born near there and lot of family still live out there.

I was round his house and we were watching the sports news on tv and they were talking about Liverpool. My cousin asked me what team I supported. I knew nothing about football but figured for them to be talking about Liverpool they had to be either the best team in the world or the worst. So I took a punt and said "Liverpool". He said he was a Liverpool fan too and from that day we grew up together as Liverpool fans, went to games together, supported the club together.

I reckon I'd be a Spurs fan if I wasn't a Liverpool supporter - or worst case scenario, Arsenal
I bet you're from Turnpike Lane/Arnos Grove way right?

My dad told me too as soon I could talk. He was (and still is) bigger than me so I listened.

I can't even imagine what it would be liked to support or care about another team

Not anymore. My last tour was Bon Jovi about 10 or 12 years ago. Still have one or two contacts in the business who sort me out tickets (thankfully)

My old fella was/is a Bluenose, my mum was a red through and through. I'm the youngest of 4 and the family was split 3 reds, 3 blues. My eldest brother is a red and because I looked up to him and also because I was closer to my mum than my dad, I became a red. In fact, to this day I remember the moment I realised I was a red, I was sat in a neighbours front room drinking out of my favourite green cup, saw Ray Clemence was wearing a green top and decided that he would be my favourite player.

I remember my old man took me to Woodison for some ****ty evening game and I just sat there bored out of my skull. Next memory I have, we're stood by the entrance to the old tunnel with thousands upon thousands of other people watching the reds bring home the European Cup. Kind of reinforced the fact the mum knows best.

All my kids support Liverpool and the wife has been converted from a casual fan into a raving red loony who insists on me taking her to the match.

I mean..........taking your bird to the match FFS!
