What's one of them?
I hear Rafa say that he didn't want Torres to play as he had a knock but understood that Torres wanted to play due to it being a big match for Spain. Hopefully we patch him up and get him on the pitch next Saturday.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Damn sure he would have Shaggy especially if he was/is up against the old and slow Alan Stubbs(mouthy ****er btw :whateverOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostIf he's out of the Everton game this is a ****ing massive blow. He'd have taken them to the cleaners.
but if he's out he's out, we'll just have to get on with it.
Test the squad if he is that's for sure."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

I would play Babel upfront if Torres is out. We need a quick striker against the slow Everton defenders.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Reds dealt Torres blow
by Chris Stanton, 12 October 2007
Fernando Torres has suffered an injury in training which will rule him out of Spain’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Denmark, as well as Liverpool’s Merseyside derby clash against Everton.
Torres sustained a leg injury in Friday’s training session in Aarhus, where Spain are preparing for Saturday’s Group F qualifier.
Spain doctor Genaro Borras confirmed Torres’s muscle strain will require a minimum of 10 days’ rest which would also rule the player out of his national team's subsequent match, a friendly against Finland on Wednesday.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez will be concerned at news of Torres’s setback, with the Spaniard sidelined too for Saturday week’s Merseyside derby at Everton.
Torres’s injury means Spain coach Luis Aragones will have to do without both of his first-choice strikers against the Danes.
Valencia frontman David Villa has already been ruled out and, coupled with Torres’s misfortune, it means a likely start for Espanyol’s Raul Tamudo.
