    Eccleston scored again

Liverpool Under-18s romped to an impressive 4-1 league victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
A brace from David Amoo plus strikes from Nathan Eccleston and Gary MacKay-Steven made it three wins on the trot for Hughie McAuley's side.

Sixteen-year-old Amoo helped send the Reds in level at the break with a powerful hit into the top corner.

But the boys stormed away in the second half, with the pick of the goals coming when MacKay-Steven played a neat one-two on the edge of the box before rifling in at the near post.

McAuley said: "Each of the goals came as a result of some really nice football. The team is still relatively new but we're really showing signs of gelling well.

"There were also some exceptional individual performances on the day from the likes of Amoo and Eccleston, as well as the two lads in midfield – Astrit Ajdarevic and Sean Highdale. The captain Steven Irwin is also doing very well at the moment, so we have some real prospects."

Next up for the under-18s is a league clash against Crewe, which takes place at The Academy at 11am on Saturday.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

How should I know? Find it out yourself then you will at least have delivered once in your lifetime.
