"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I don't get why Moyes has so many critics amongst Evertonians, he's worked wonders for them in the last 4 or 5 years.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

It`s because they think they`re a big club. Everybody else know they are average.

cos he has spent big and a defeat will leave them bottom half of the table

and their own fans are sick to death of how his teams play hoof ball

they will be way off their "goal" of finishing 4th

they cant sell tickets for even this their cup final

            it all adds up

lets hope the **** gets his come uppance

Every manager is always going to be under varying degrees of pressure but Everton haven't started too badly and realistically can only hope for a UEFA Cup place - they're still on course for that.

Rafa is under FAR greater pressure.

How can anyone even argue with that?

Only by you and a few mates.

Rafa is here till the end of his contract, at the minimum. Only the fans turning on him could change that IMO.

He is building this club into what it should be, a monument to winning football. This will happen over a few years yet. If we win stuff in the next 3 years good, bonus. After that we should be well placed to compete everywhere.

Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

The pressure will come from G&H.
If Rafa don`t get the results (in terms of points and money) it won`t last long before they start asking questions.

                          Perhaps...

Either way, I think some people are being a little ridiculous in this thread. God forbid somebody should point out that Rafa is under a bit of pressure. Like it or not, justified or not, there are fans getting fed up, there is a lot of media pressure and this is evidenced by the fact that Rafa is repeatedly being faced with the same questions in interviews and having to admit that there is a problem that needs fixing.

Ya'know, being under pressure doesn't equate to getting the sack...

What is not getting results? Serious question.

                            for This season?

                            for Next season?

I think that Rafa has got time on his side. I can't see G&H being as "ruthless" as some people like to make out. Having said that, whether you have backing from the board or not, it's important to keep the fans happy and the media at bay - it just makes your job easier.

It's not easy to win the Premiership, we all know that. What fans are expecting is a genuine challenge for the title. It's a bit silly to talk about points total and all that bollocks - we'll all recognize a title challenge when we see one and come April / May, that's what we need to see.

My guess is that G&H has some "targets" for the team:
                                - The first, and most important, is reaching the CL next season. If Rafa don`t manage that I think he`ll be in trouble.

-They would of course love to win the PL, CL etc, but I don`t think that is necessary to keep them happy.

It`s important keep the fans happy, but not as important as before. The impact of the local fans are also less than it used to be. More and more of the revenue comes from outside Liverpool, and while it`s great to have a good atmosphere at matches it`s not really a must.
