The pace of the Yak and Anichibe (sp?) will give us alot of problems.

If Torres is injured then we must rely on other players and I don't think pace will be an issue here. It's going to be a battle out there, and if we win the second balls and press them in their half and pass it properly, we'll win as we won't be relying on the counter attack. That's the idea.

Pace is great when we need to play on the counter and against teams such as Manure / Arsenal away, where we won't see a lot of the ball. Everton will not pass us off.

Pace is the biggest weapon in english football.

I think Pennant should be starting and Babel to be an impact sub. I would have stuck Stevie on the left to rip Hibbert apart.

Crouch should be playing imo.

We have a bench that has good impact players. Babel - Pace, Pennant - Crossong ability and Crouch - Height so I think Rafa has his tactics spot on for today's game. This game could go to the wire and it wouldn't surprise me if one of our substitutions helped us win the game today!!
