Problem is simple for me. Toothless in attack and midfield.

We need another quick, exciting striker for when Torres isnt playing. Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin are support strikers inmy opinion.

Pennant has to play. Been a great outlet this year so far.

We did ok for the first 15 minutes, then Moyes figured it out and clogged the midfield and pushed his fullbacks up.

I am surprised Rafa had no countermoves.
I reckon we need Momo and Mascher to crunch more and Babel on one flank.

Anyone think Kuyt / Voronin are too similar? Neither of them lead the line very well, but they both support well.

Problem is that they are not playing up front together and one poor ******* has to drift out to the right to watch Lescott fly past them

What a sh1te first half by the reds. Sissoko was awful and Mascherano is struggling to keep up with the pace.
The team looks void of ideas, short on confidence and tired. WTF is going on ?

We have two creative players on the pitch, Benayoun and Gerrard. The rest of them are more or less hard workers.

We should play to our strength and make Everton chase the game.

Yup. I agree. No need to try and outbruise everton. We have more ballplayers, not just bruisers and they will still try to play ball even if they need to be more physical

Hyypia was unlucky with the OG. I think it's a bit harsh to label him a liability.

And I'm no Riise fan, but he has been okay so far in all fairness, not done anything wrong.

Not just the the OG, he's being consistently bullied in aerial challenges and his awareness isn't there anymore.

He was worse against Spurs.
