Generally we played OK, rafa bemused me with selection and substitutions but a lucky win is still a win.
Dirk is the man.
Voronin needs some composure and Momo needs to play Defensive mid only, i know rafa thinks he can do more but his passing and finishing are not good enough to play further forward.
I love Jamie Carragher!
Lucas did well but still early.

I'm ****ing delighted with that result, but if any game showed us just how negative Rafa is, then it's this one.

The game turned on one great ball from Voronin and a pen and a red card later, the game was in our favour.

It wasn't rafa who turned it that way. But when it did, he refused to take advantage of it.

I'm elated that we won it, but lets be honest, that was a pen at the end, and could (should?) have easily been a 2-2 draw against 9 men.

I'm thrilled by the 3 points and thrilled by beating Everton, but it showed to me that Rafa, in my own humble view, is not a positive manager. When a game is there for the taking, he's pretty ****ing gutless, and none of his changes make any sense whatsoever.

At least I can't be accused of a knee jerk reaction because this is in the aftermath of a win (which will probably produce another accusation of "we won for ****s sake" but critics can't win).

Ultimately though, as a managerial performance, that was ****ing ****e.

Thankfully, we got away with it, but we have Mark Clatterburg to thank more than Rafa cos that WAS a pen at the end, and Rafa failed to turn the game in our favour in the first place, or to make the necessary changes once they were down to ten men.

Still, we won!!

Rafa will say he had his eye on the next two games, and will probably rest Momo and Macherano, at the end of the day, Levia had a key part in winning the game, so it is hard to criticise the substitution too much.
Hopefully LEvia is now getting to grips with the English game.

That's what I thought when he took Stevie off which is criminal. We're in the middle of a blood and guts derby and we're thinking of the next match? Criminal decision making that.
