I've watched the first 5 minutes of this arsenal game so far and it's making it embarassingly apparent how **** we are.

To be fair though they are playing away against a struggling bolton team, whilst we were away in a merseyside derby. Bit harsh to compare the two.

were you saying that at the start of the season?

confidence and injuries are the problem, we won without our best out there, get over it and enjoy

will neverton be bringing out a dvd of this match?
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

              I agree completely.

What's the odds of an emergency glazer being called to Victoria Street tonight?

But even when we do play against tripe it doesn't really get any better. I'm going to disappear from the face of the earth until the rugby methinks. Here's hoping for a South African win

Are Arsenal winning ? They're at home anyway and as you say, against a team devoid of confidence and manager.

To be fair you were leading today and we were lucky not to give a penalty away when your lad Lescott fell over at the end...

well when everyone else on here was saying we were easily going to win the title I said I wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of last season... if that counts for anything.

You have to feel sorry for the lad.

At this rate I can't see him last past the January transfer window.
I like Crouch - as a player and a person - but I don't feel sorry for him. He has done nothing this season to warrant a place, imo. He was also very poor as a sub during the week with England.
