Fair enough, but I don't buy it.

    What changes?

We have another player on the pitch that can pass the ball in a straight line and god forbid actually create something.

Also, GOD FORBID we have more than one attacking midfielder in the team. They might get in each others way?

Did you see Utd's midfield at Villa today?

    Giggs - Anderson - Scholes - Nani

How on earth did Man Utd win, what with Anderson and Scholes getting in each others way all the time?

Giggs - Anderson - Scholes - Nani would they all have got as much of the ball if ronaldo had been playing instead of nani? probably not

You're talking as though Gerrard was having a mare. He wasn't. That's the irony of it all - as Alan Hansen said, it was looking as though there was light at the end of the tunnel for Gerrard in that game.

As for your Ronaldo comment - I'm pretty sure Nani got MOM the other week whilst Ronaldo was playing.

i am not saying he was having a mare but rafa wanted to change something specifically and he did that.

            you dont agree

we are not going to agree so i think its best to leave it there or we will all get very very bored with this

Rafa sees the team vs. the individual.

                What did he say..

Steven Gerrard is the worst player to ever pull on a liverpool shirt ,
                playing at right mid.

"Sorry guys, I had to take the GREAT STEVIE G OFF!!

I'm sory but i'm afraid i might have to do that sometimes.

                "No Rafa, please dont
                But I have too, he's playig ****e.

                Ohhh.. OK THEN!

Yes, and it is my view that the TEAM is better with Gerrard in it as opposed to Momo.

Rafa should have just copied the chick in your avatar when he was asked the question about Stevie

maybe it was a poor criticism as it wasnt a criticism.

a poor analogy but here goes.

if i need to use a flat head screwdriver to screw a screw in the fact i am not using a philips screwdriver isnt saying that its **** just that in that instance i need something different

He's a footballer, he's one of the best in his field, why does he need to be highly intelligent?
Exactly - no one reads a stephen hawkin book and says, "not bad but he's **** at football!".

But you look at it from the perspective of individuals. That's your failing!

Normally I'd agree with that. However, on today's evidence we won "despite" rafa's tactics, not because of them.

                              *sigh*

                              No, no I'm not.

If you think the balance of a team is better with central midfielders that can't pass or create anything, then there is no point talking to you.

I understand where you are coming from

I just feel that the balance needs to be across all 11 starters. They ALL need to be signing from the same hymnn sheet.
