Evidently you didn't see him going up to win that header, clearing out Momo and one of the Bue****e in the process...he's not the biggest guy but he's no Smicer, he isn't afraid to get stuck in

Great player. Not enough of his type in our squad.

He's better than Smicer but not as good as King Luis.

Responsible for making our play very narrow at times, this can bring rewards in terms of goals but I would prefer a natural wide player in the positions he fills in the side.

I think he can be as good as King Luis. He just needs games and I am of the opinion his best position is behind the striker. He is very intelligent, decent movement, good vision, he can score as we seen against Reading and Wigan so I think he can be a legend in years to come.

              Here's hoping!

Squaddie - no more than that. If we play him we should play him where he can hurt teams Att MF thruough the middle. But that's SG's role. And I know who I prefer to start.

Should have bought better than Benny and Pennant. We're suffering for it big time, given that Harry isn't fit and Babel and Leto don't appear to be ready yet.

He is a good player but it is hard to accommodate him in the team and he provides less of a direct threat than Garcia. It's not his fault alone but frequently our midfield appears a bit toothless in front of goal. Benni does get credit for making things happen in the box though - such as the early chance for Voronin.
You are describing the traits and characteristics of what a good winger is there to do....
Yossi is by no means a winger and i am not sure if he has the pace to do what you describe.

I think he would be ideal playing just in front of midfield but behind Torres as he is a very intelligent player with an eye for an opening. This along with Alonso's controlled passing and vision from midfield would make us far more of an attacking threat, and allow SG to break from midfield and attack more regulalry,

certainly were dan and i give you credit. it was more out of frustration for me that we were signing more of the same. he has had some good appearances and a few poor ones but he seems capable of finding some consistency. i would play him every time ahead of pennant but if alonso and the mascherano are fit, id play gerrard on the right
