Me to because not only did he stay, he signed a new deal!Originally posted by Tom View PostHe was an inch away from being sold this summer. In fact I was surprised to see him stay.
If it comes down to it and we could only keep Momo or Mascher I know who I'd pick.
If Momo wants to leave then January would be a great opportunity to do it.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

He is likely to be in AFC duty - no-one is likely to touch him till summer surely.Originally posted by FatTony View PostLiverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko has told friends he wants to leave the club in January. (Mail on Sunday)

I think a lot will depend on Mascher staying or not.
Rafa obviously likes Momo, but if he is saying he wants to leave then let him go please....

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Sell Momo and sign a skillful central defender.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think we should have cashed in on him over the summer...especially if the rumors of clubs like Juve wanting to pay 10M for him were true. We could have used that money to acquire some much-needed defensive cover.
That being said, I don't blame Momo if he wants to go...if the club can still manage a decent fee for him, it would probably be best for both parties. We could use the transfer money and, quite frankly, we've got a bit of a logjam in central midfield. Momo's a young lad, he's got his career to think of, and he's likely to be marginalized, especially if we sign Mascherano to a long-term deal and Lucas comes along as hoped for.
At this point in time, I'm not sure how Momo fits in with the rest of our central midfield players. Pair him with Gerrard, and there's no stabilizing influence there. Pair him with Alonso, and Momo inevitably ends up being the one getting forward, even though he offers nothing whatsoever in the attacking third. Pair him with Mascherano, and there's no real attacking presence coming from CM.
We can get by without him, and we could use the money...

Mascher and Alonso? We'd also look to bring in a better replacement.Originally posted by DeeGame View Postbut then we'd be short of cover in CM

If we are selling players who are out of form, we'd do better to sell Gerrard. We'd get a lot more for him. :whatever:Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostI'd be happy to see him leave.
