It's only four new players and we would sell a few.

    Riise, Crouch, Sissoko and Pennant.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Four players is a very big number to change (in the first team squad) in January. Four in four out is even more disruption to the squad.

We wouldn't need to sign all of them in January. Say two in January and two in the summer.

I guess 2 players out, max. One is more likely, Crouch I would say, maybe Momo. Riise, not now, in the summer is more likely.

The same, 2 players in, max.
One centreback to come in surely, one striker or creative forward maybe.

I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Anyone would think we were in Spurs' position the way some people on this board are going on

Actually, Spurs are a good analogy. They've got Berbatov, Keane and Defoe, plus their £17m man Bent (who more than one pillock was suggesting we should buy last summer). That's a pretty good strikeforce eh? Better than ours? (notwithstanding Torres). And look where they are in the league at the moment.

There's far too many people around this forum, and all the lfc forums for that matter, whose football education seems based on games consoles and Football Manager rather than reality. Better players are always wanted at any club, but anyone who thinks we'll bring in 3 or 4 superstars in January is living in cloud cuckoo land.

Whatever the **** happened to supprting the players we have, and getting behind the team? Unbeaten, best away record in the league, with a manager and squad which has triumphed in adversity before. Sure, we are't firing on all cylinders, but 10 games into the season some of the **** being spouted daily on this site leaves me seriously bemused.

I really don't care if we are unbeaten or not as long as we draw to many games. We need to win the games, not draw them.

Three points for a win and one for a draw is a massive difference.

You get six points if you win two games out of three and lose the third. You get five points if you win one and draw two.

I would rather win two games out of three than winning one and draw two.
