There's nothing wrong with expressing your opinion on Rafa, the players or the team in general. That's what this forum is for. If each thread consisted of back slapping and each of us saying how amazing Riise and Momo were even though they had a sh!te game (this is only an example) then it would be the most boring forum on the net.

I can tell you that no matter how much some of us may be critical post match, each and everyone of us go mental supporting the lads in the stadium or watching it on the tele. Me disapproving of some of Rafa's decisions has absolutely ZERO baring on my support for the mighty reds.
Expressing an opinion is one thing, I enjoy reading some of the constructive views on here. Some posters regularly make valid and interesing critics of the team ,players etc but recently there is an awful lot of ridiculous threads that really are a waste of time and only go to lower the standards on here.

For example there is a current debate on who you want rid of Rafa or Gerrard, someone's opinion granted but it's just nonsense isn't it ?

Maybe I'll start a post like which player looks most like a spanner ?
      and we can debate that.

Lescott wins hands down. There's no debating here...it's a no brainer.

Expressing our opinions about things we won't be able to change is pointless. I've read so many moaning posts and so many discussions going in circles. That's very frustrating. As long as we respect each other's viewpoint it's acceptable. Our main aim, at the end of the day, is to support the team.

I've never slagged off Gerard Houllier and still won't utter a bad word against the man. He was part (and still is) of our family. That's what stands us apart from other clubs, the way we stick together and push right behind the team.

Rafa is not stupid, and will stand by his decisions right or wrong. No matter what we say about Stevie being substituted, the game ended with Lucas having been decisive and that for me is a master stroke alone. Call him lucky, I don't give a ****. He won us the game. Over the course of the season he's bound to make mistakes. It's where we stand after 38 matches which counts, not what we're doing after 10.

Well in fella, if were gonna win this title we need to give the lads as much support as we can. There are more than enough people out there slagging us off already, we dont need it on here from our own too
where is the line drawn between teams who have won the league as a result of of total fan support and those who haven't? or between those who have failed to win the league as a result of fan negativity and those who have failed because they're not good enough? it doesn't exist.

if rafa is going to win us the league it will have very little to do with us. it's different if you're at anfield where negativity would be felt very clearly but the idea that people can't be negative about the manager or the team online because it might effect the team's morale is laughable. to me anyway. it's not like people are just logging on and abusing the team personally - we have a manger who does not approach football in a simple or straightforward manner and who makes decisions that to most of us are impossible to understand. what's strange about being frustrated in that?

and as always i think that the manner in which we play is very important to a significant proportion of fans. it's not enough to win - it's the manner in which we win; it's having an approach that we can recognise or understand. i think if we're to be honest there is probably noone on this or other fans sites that can explain all of rafa's decisions. or even most of them.

i never mind people coming on here and calling for rafa/player's heads because it's just born out of frustration. mostly - just like sarb - people come back and say they may have been wrong. sometimes they don't but so what? i find this uberfan thing that sees online criticism or venting of frustration as a danger to team morale far more annoying because it's always born out of this put-upon real fan's suffering/supporting bollox.
