Eh?Originally posted by Rafa Shankly View Posti dont see your point mate.
the tickets are not selling so why would giving more tickets to someone who apparently dont want them have made a difference?
I was saying they should've allowed more than just one ticket per fancard, from the outset.

the only reason i don't agree with this is because the CC usually offers an outlet to those fans who don't normally get to the game or can't normally get a ticket, to get out and support their team, so I can understand the need to limit it to one ticket per supporter. Of course it does pose a problem to supporters who'd like tickets next to each other, but the solution is to get fan cards for each person I suppoe.Originally posted by DJS View PostEh?

Yeah you say that, but if all those people who normally cant get a ticket actually got off their arses, there wouldnt still be loads left for this, would there?Originally posted by Morphorino View Postthe only reason i don't agree with this is because the CC usually offers an outlet to those fans who don't normally get to the game or can't normally get a ticket, to get out and support their team, so I can understand the need to limit it to one ticket per supporter. Maybe they normally CAN get a ticket, but choose not to - like they appear to have chosen not to for Cardiff.

there's no doubt a lot will turn the fixture down because it's not a glamour tie, but i'm sure a lot have picked up tickets who wouldn't normally get to the match, I suppose the club will look at the figures and the buying patterns. (Well actually they probably won't but they should)Originally posted by DJS View PostYeah you say that, but if all those people who normally cant get a ticket actually got off their arses, there wouldnt still be loads left for this, would there?

I'm sure those who cant normally get tickets and wanted to (and did) for this tie would still have been able to do so, had they allowed each FC holder to buy two tickets, instead of one. They're allowing an additional ticket to FC holders NOW, so had they done so from the outset, it wouldnt have made much difference to the fan who cant normally get a ticket.Originally posted by Morphorino View Postthere's no doubt a lot will turn the fixture down because it's not a glamour tie, but i'm sure a lot have picked up tickets who wouldn't normally get to the match, I suppose the club will look at the figures and the buying patterns. They need to find the right balance and 2 tickets per FC holder for this game (where the tickets were still £24) would've been about right.

thing is they aren't to know how popular a game is, if it had sold out, then we wouldn't be having this conversationOriginally posted by DJS View PostI'm sure those who cant normally get tickets and wanted to (and did) for this tie would still have been able to do so, had they allowed each FC holder to buy two tickets, instead of one. plenty of times, but you're just annoyed because you didn't get things your way, and the fact the tickets didn't sell out straight away which no one could have forecast, gives you the opporunity to criticise the way they do thingsOriginally posted by DJS View PostFFS Morph, do the club ever get anything wrong in your eyes?

they only got it wrong if you think it's reasonable to criticise them for expecting the match to sell out, using the usual ticketing structureThomas Hicks Senior

I wanted 1 ticket, i got 1 ticket.
Another poster PM'd me offering me two more, because they thought (judging by this thread) that i needed more. I thanked him and told him i didnt need any more tickets.
So let me ask again, what didnt i get my way? :whatever:

my mistake, i thought with you kicking up such a fuss about it, you actually had a gripe from personal experience, re-reading the thread, it appears you don't and you're just looking for something to moan aboutOriginally posted by DJS View Post
