I would accept it.
We need a Ronaldo type of player more than Gerrard. Rafa would probably sort out his diving.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

There is a big difference between when Gerrard and Ronaldo dives.Originally posted by carheex View PostHe hasn't managed that with gerrard yet...
Gerrard do it when there is contact between the players. Ronaldo do it without any contact at all.
So it would be a freekick/penalty even if Gerrard didn't dive but it wouldn't be that when Ronaldo do it.
You more or less don't get a freekick/penalty if you stay on your feet for the the same foul that you get a freekick/penalty for if you go down.
It's not only the players fault that they go down sometimes because they must do it to get the freekick/penalty.
The refs should give the foul even if the player don't go down but they don't, so what should the player do?
It's the diving without any contact that is rubbish to see.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

hmmm, I'm siding with you on this one.I think the system Rafa plays means Stevie sticks out as someone who doesnt quite fit into it, hence him being moved about in 2/3 postions.Originally posted by AFII View PostI would accept it.

We already have a very strong central midfield without Gerrard but Ronaldo would change our wing play completely.Originally posted by Parm View Posthmmm, I'm siding with you on this one.I think the system Rafa plays means Stevie sticks out as someone who doesnt quite fit into it, hence him being moved about in 2/3 postions.
Man U already have Carrick, Hargreaves and Scholes in the middle. Gerrard wouldn't make them that much better. If you then add that they would miss Ronaldo's wing play then there is no doubt that the move would be a big plus for us.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

He's 5 times as good as carrick/hargreaves but ronaldo is 10 times better than pennant so we'd have to do the deal IMO.

I didn't said Gerrard isn't that much better than them. I said that he wouldn't make the them, the team, that much better and he would play instead of Scholes not Carrick or Hargreaves IMO.Originally posted by carheex View PostNow you think that gerrard isn't that much better than carrick and hargreaves!?
