    good read that
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

excellent article, just really strengthens everything I already thought about the situation. The crap spouted out about Gerrard and Rafa is ridiculous especially from people like Gray.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

he may have been moved to midfield. we went back to a flat back 4 after we went 3-3.

True, but Hamann was about to come on for Champions League winner Djimi Traore when Rafa realised Finnan couldn't continue.

It frustrates me that sometimes people look at Rafa's decisions and if they don't immediately understand them they slate him instead of looking for the method that inevitably lies beneath the seeming madness. He's not beyond criticism, far from it. But we do need to accept that because he knows a **** load more than we ever will, we need to analyse his decisions from more than just our own immediate, limited perspective.

What everyone seems to forget that we had a couple of great chances in the 2nd half before Lucas came on which should have resulted in goals. One was the Kuyt pullback for Riise and another was the Kuyt rebound header from Voronin's shot from a corner. The fact that we needed a last second winner was only because the finishing was very poor from us.

and Gerrard will be a bigger goal threat in 100 games out of 100 than Sissoko and we needed to score goals and not keep two defensive midfielders on the pitch and one of them is a very poor passer. Everton at the same time had two attacking players on the pitch and we had six defensive players. I don't think you need six players to take out two average strikers.

I like Tomkins but this article is ****.

Sissoko should have gone off instead of Gerrard.

Gerrard can create a goal out of nothing, Sissoko can destroy the other teams play. Everton didn't had any play left to destroy. The only tactic they had left was hoofing the ball and hope for the best.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Haha.. I can certainly agree with that!

Edit: I have read it now, and actually it was one of his better pieces.
