Pennant is rubbish. Crossed that ball way to early. And now he's off and should not come on ever again. Too slow and cannot take a man on. Kuyt and Voronin must be the worst partnership we've had in decades.

Pennant can beat people, why doesn't he try it? We seem to get talented players and snuff the confidence out of them. It was the same under Houllier. Apart from Garcia, who seemed to have carte blanche, every skillful player we get becomes scared to lose the ball..
