We've gone from a team full of Carraghers in 2005 to a team full of Sissokos for 2007 At least the last few years we could expect results in the CL if league form was ****e but this year it looks like we're newbies to the CL.

We were'n't that bad. We've played pretty well in midfield. Not much threat at the back, but Carra ****ed up badly. Strikers look 1 dimensional. Benni would make a big difference.

Finnan and Riise need to get attacking down the flanks.
Babel has done ok.

Can one of you guys confirm whether Kuyt is playing in midfield or up front. :whatever: Maybe I need to take my blinkers off. He and Voronin have been awful up front.

It was probably instructions on how to cross a ball and find a players noggin.
Hardly his fault mind, he only has 1 red shirt to aim for amongst 5 defenders.

We're going through a very poor period at the moment. Nobody is playing particularly well and the wins we have had haven't exactly been convincing (Derby aside).

It can't get much worse, things will have to turn around soon or later, though I think by then we'll be out of the CL, which may not be a bad thing for once.
