-Inability to pass to a team mate.
-Inability to control ball.
-No pace
-No creativity
-No decent players down the flanks (Babbel is blatantly a CF)
-No-one that can dribble, break formation & commit defenders.
-No decent back-up for Agger
-No tempo, control or intelligence to our play.
All of these things can be levelled at Rafa. Looking at the Gooners yesterday, every single one of them from CB up top can trap, dribble, pass & move so it's not just about how mcuh you spend. Even team like Balckburn make our "football" look amateurish sometimes.
Kuyt & Voronin have not & will never work. THey are 2 workhorses. Why arent we playin coruchie FFS? He terrorises European defender & has played well against Turkish opposition.
I am slowly starting to lase faith I am afraid.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Looking bad against a poor team, couple of things stand outOriginally posted by der_Fuchs View PostMy thoughts exactly. Last night Arsenal on the ball were a joy to watch. Our attacking style is an embarrassment.
Babel is not a winger he doesn't seem to understand the position, he should play upfront in the 2nd half
Kuyt needs to rejoin the attack quicker when he drops into midfield.
Stevie G needs to stop trying to hit the killer ball all the time, maybe sub him for Alonso in the 2nd half to bring some control to the midfield

We managed to get some crosses in.
Babel and Pennant has been ok.
SG needs to go a bit further up and let Masch dictate play. He is marginalising Masch now and is more dangerous himself further up.
Riise and Finnan, continue overlapping.
The bad thing is up front.
Not enough quality. Not enough bodies in the box when crosses come in.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

I was thinking the exact same thing. Sure it may confuse the other manager and players, but they only have one game plan. There is no patience in our play anymore. Trying to build immediate attacks with nobody forward, 75% of passes find the opposition. Hoofing from the back.Originally posted by AFII View PostThat's what happen when you rotate the team a lot. Double rotation.
If one tactic doesn't produce a goal in 10mins, 2 players get swapped around and it's tried for another 10mins. It's confusing the **** out of me. Can we steady the ship a little rather than all this changing around?# Fernando Torres, Liverpool's number 9 #

Agree, re:SG. He should be concentrating on bring the wingers into play.Originally posted by kemm1 View PostGerrard needs to stop all those hollywood passes all them time and giving the ball away, control the midfield and build the play and we will score.
It is also sad to see how rubbish Hyypia has become.
The Crow looks out of it in the first half
Babel and Pennant are doing a decent job on the flanks.
Otherwise I think we're doing OK
BTW Kuyt has been pretty good, his link up play has been excellent and how he has managed to control some of the balls that have been fired into him I don't know.
But hey, I guess with no Momo, that Kuyt is the standard scapegoat.
Riise, added nothing.
Finnan, looks a little dodgy.
Babel and Pennant are not getting enough service.
And how anyone can say the Crow is crap given that he has had 0 decent service is beyond me. If he don't get the ball, he can't influence the game. Simple as.The Crushing Machine MKII

The filth, the arse and the chavs would ****ing steamroller this lot. No question. Our players are just coasting through matches expecting a team mate to do something.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostNone whatsoever.
I'm in a ****ing horrible mood and I've sulked for the last hour. We're wank. This is a chore....like it was under Houllier.
Can't believe I'm saying it but Rafa's running out of time and excuses. Besiktas are PISH and we're still unimaginative, one dimensional and can't even do the most basic of things.
Compare us to Arse & the Mancs last night. Another universe.
No passion, no ****ing anything infact.
You're absolutely right, shaggy, this is a ****ing real chore at the minute.
Something has to be done and people need to stand up and be counted. Sadly though half our players don't look ****ing interested.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!
**** OFF MOURINHO!!!!!!:whatever:

they all need a rocket up their arse
i don't care how much you get rotated.
professional footballers should be able to control the ball and then pass it to a player wearing the same colour shirt as themselves.
the one decent move we put together we almost scored from the turks are so ****
and as for our "comedy" defending this season....."At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"

At this point I just want someone to show some inspiration! That's what watching football is all about right? A piece of magic that turns a game. I just want them to go for it at this point, even if they lose, just to know there is hope. I want to enjoy watching the Reds, not build up hope before every game that this is the turning point and that we are going to wallop some team, only to watch this rubbish and lose all hope again. When do we call a halt to this madness?

I'm starting to think for the first time that selling Stevie wouldn't be such a bad idea if we got £30m+ for him.
He need to start to act like the Captain he is.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

so it's back to: lets blame the rotation???Originally posted by AFII View PostThat's what happen when you rotate the team a lot. Not only that you change players, you also change their position on the pitch.
Double rotation.
utter ****e, the problem obviously is much bigger than that. the players that are rotated least are the ones that are letting us down..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

And only 400 LFC supporters travelled for it. Bet they wish they hadn't bothered now.
