If we miss out on the CL, I'd prefer that we missed out on the UEFA cup as well. To me, all I care about is the EPL. The less distractions the better.Originally posted by Nic83 View PostWould you be too disappointed if we didn't make the knock out stages and went into the UEFA instead?
We would be fully focused on the league, playing our strongest 11 in most games while resting some of our bigger ones for the UEFA cup and still having a strong chance to win that competition too.

Where has Voronin been at fault?
The lad needs a full season under his belt before you can start making those comments. Once Torres and Voronin get a partnership going we'll start to make headway. They look an awesome pairing.

He is another striker we have at the club who is incapable of scoring regularly. If a Uefa cup German team were willing to let him go as easily as they did it says a lot about his ability.Originally posted by MerseyCider View Post

that's not how we budget.
i remember reading something with Parry and until the american's took over we didn't even spend money until CL group stages was assured- one of the reasons we did our transfer spending late in the window"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"
