I think Hobbs will play..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I don't see Arbeloa playing as centre back if he is going to feature at all. The height is lacking with Adebayor starting.
Walcott playing up front is going to mean that the defence will have to play deep which probably means we might have to play two holding just to make sure Hyypia doesn't cock up again. Alonso and Jefe get my vote with Gerrard and Torres doing the damage up top

I just hope we perform the way we did last night, if we do we'll turn youse over no probs, ok Liverpool are a stronger team but with Theo in the groove and Cesc as slick as ever we will take some stopping.
Big up Arsene's Young Guns!!!!!!!!!!"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

he and Torres have been our outstanding players.Originally posted by Marky19 View Post...we'd be ****ed

**** it, I think we should just go for it how Real did it a few years ago, get Ronaldo to score early, have Casilles make some top draw saves and then have Ronaldo pop up with a late goal. Just swap those two for pepe and El Nino..

A preview by Sir Ben Tover
Either Rafael Benitez will pull off a Houdini or has he been pulling a Houdini over the past few seasons as we face our sternest test of the season. Arsenal who have won all their games in all competitions will look to gain another three points when they visit Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal will be favourites heading into what will also be their first test of the season; meeting fellow title challengers and three points away from home and against title rivals which could give the North London side a big boost leading them into following week which sees them entertain fellow title contenders Manchester United. Table topping Arsenal who have scored 21 goals will look to rewrite the history books as Benitez has beaten his adversary Arsene Wenger three times in as many visits for the Gunners in the league.
The Gunners are buoyed as they trounced Slavia Prague by a cricket score and hope to continue their free scoring adventures to take on a very below par and surprisingly shaky Liverpool defence. Theo Walcott who once supported Liverpool will look to play against them for the second time in his career, his first being the 6-3 drubbing in the League Cup largely at the hands of the very large Julio Baptista who has since been sent back to Real Madrid. Arsenal will look at the pace of Walcott to unlock the Liverpool defence which looks like a Jodie Marsh's pussy (a great big hole) since the loss of Daniel Agger to a metatarsal injury however reports from the Liverpool camp suggest he could be rushed back into the defence after the run of poor goals conceded in both league and cup competitions, none more so than the very comical yet very deadly goal conceded in midweek against Turkish side Besiktas.
Benitez's men will look to get back on track this weekend after a disappointing loss away in the Champions League. He couldn't have hoped for a better match to return to. The visit of the league leaders who look as deadly as Coop's four worded tirades. Liverpool who have suffered injuries to key players are confident record signing Fernando Torres, midfield maestro Xabi Alonso and a very doubtful but possibly the most cultured defender in the Premiership Daniel Agger are all declared fit for a very difficult afternoon. The exclusion of these three players are very as recognisable as Homo Sissoko in a BNP meeting. Benitez who has been under heavy criticism not only from the press but also sections of the Anfield crowd over his rotation system will have selection headache as he has the options of picking a stronger side than his last two selections against bitter rivals Kirkby and Besiktas.
Rafael Benitez and his players will look at the form guide to gain some sort of encouragement for Sundays clash as the Spaniard has beaten the Frenchmen in all his visits in the league since Benitez took over the reigns. The players, staff and fans of Liverpool will look for a performance which they can only dream of watching after the atrocities of the last couple of matches but with a packed Anfield expected and a 4 o clock kick off in front of the live Sky cameras, this could be an occasion where Rafa's red men raise the roof, the game and show the league that they are the force to be reckoned with.
