voronin was signed before the takeover and so were crouch and kuyt. i dont think we'll see these kinda signings anymore.some have gone in a season ...at most 2 . so probably we might not see the likes of kuyt,voronin and crouch for next season.but i think the money came in a bit too late as such we are stuck with them for now

You're harsh on Benni there mate. He was the only one to perform with a semblance of poise and ball control against Besiktas. Some lovely touches and sparked a period of pressure for us. He's ideal to start against the Arse who aren't over physical and will to an extent allow him to express himself and we DESPERATELY need a creative element in the team.

Hyypia will start with Arbeloa replacing Riise if fit. If so, Alonso will sit deep with Masher in front of the back four to protect creaky Sami, leaving Gerrard to play off (hopefully) Torres but if not we'll have to make do with Kuyt.
