Kewell's quality is there to see. If only he can keep himself fit, I think to myself, before realising it's far better not to hope for too much with him. Whatever we get from him is a bonus really.

Kewell off, he better not be injured already
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Nice hassling by Brower to rob the ball for the second Liverpool goal

Deserves a spot on the bench atleast.....after all we could worse!
Well he either suffers from stage fright or lack of strength, because when he plays for the first time he is ****.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

To be fair no-one else on the left side seems to have staked a claim for a place.
Aurelio still injured, Riise ****, Fatty Kewell just returned from inury, Babbel still finding his feet.
Perhaps only Benayoun....after that what are the options..?"I'm going to sine your pitty on the runny kine!"

He's hardly had a lot of chances and look at the circumstances.Originally posted by bazza76 View PostLEto?

Toulouse at home - Was on the back of him only having 1 friendly in pre season due to visa problems or whatever it was.
Reading - got an assist and did ok.
Marseille - Was put into a team playing ****e.
Whether he'll make it or not ive no idea but its unfair to judge anything on his limited appearances so far.
