I have no idea what's gone on in the background. What I do know is Crouch is a good player and has done well for us, so it's a shame to see it come to this. As someone said, he is not even being rotated as per the others so we know his time is up with us.

If he has been believing his own hype and believes he should get a 1st team spot by default, then I'm glad Rafa is taking no prisoners. After all, Rafa made him the player he is now when he was just the laughing stock of just about the whole of the UK. Rafa's the boss - once players start selecting the side etc then it's game over for the manager. If he has not taken to rotation as the others have then its a shame but we move on even if we take a short term hit until he is replaced, and have to put up with some Kuyt and Voronin pairings for a short while more yet.

I dont rate Crouch that much but he's been hard done by and would have to qustion why Kuyt and Crow are ahead of them its crazy they are very poor a times

don't rate him? bloody hell, you'd be hard pushed to see a better hat trick than the one he scored past arsenal. He ain't quick granted but he can score goals which is the name of the game.

Whats he's good at is holding up the ball and bringing players in, as has been said for a big man he's not go the best header and also needs alot of chances.
