don't rate him? bloody hell, you'd be hard pushed to see a better hat trick than the one he scored past arsenal. He ain't quick granted but he can score goals which is the name of the game.

He has more bad points than good though.He got a great hat-trick against them but also missed 3sitters at Ewood and we lost that game and ended a winning run.Missed a sitter at the back post against the mancs last year and we ended up losing.Missed a super chance against Benfica when they knocked us out and the game was 0-0 at the time.

He misses way too much and we aim every attack at him.People on here rave about his goals but Cisse scored lots and his all round game was crap too.

He got too big for his boots and thought he was a bigtime player.
Him,Kuyt and the crow are the subject of debate here on a daily basis and none of the 3are good enough for a big club who wants to challenge on all fronts.

That's because we punt up long balls to him, he prefers them into his feet, yet we always launch themup the pitch so all he can do then is control and lay them off to someone

I'm not so sure he got to big for his boots, but players can only put up with not playing for so long, it's probably best for his career if he goes now I think

1) well according to Rafa we create bucket loads of chances.
2) Utd won the treble with Andy Cole
3) with the modern day football being as light as it is, there isn't a striker on the planet that doesn't miss his fair share of sitters.

Morph I know he hates the high ball but with a bigman sometimes players take the lazy option and punt it.If you cant get in the team then put the head down and work hard and make the manager pick you.If that does not work then face the fact that you are not wanted and leave.

Yes he misses chances, but would you rather you had a striker who put himself in there to miss them, or a bottler like Kuyt who is absolutely no threat to the opposition.

Yes he does have flaws; he's slow, not particularly good in the air. But at the very least he can control the football, and if given the right service can trouble defenders. Outside of Torres he's our best striker, IMO of course. I'm not saying he is or isn't good enough, but he's the best of the rest.

Totally agree mate they are simply not good enough and havent shown me anything to suggest im wrong about them this season

I think he's deffo out in Jan, unless there's an amazing turnaround in the next few weeks. I do think he's more deserving of a chance than Kuyt tho, he works hard but brings little to the table. Still undecided about Voronin, when he plays with Torres he looks decent, when he plays with Kuyt he looks gash, i'd like to hope we'll see the former a bit more often now.
