He's a professional - he should simply concentrate on his own performance & be ready - not sulk & mope around - he hasnt been ready this season; he's been **** whenever called upon

I'm 'professional' myself, an Architect- if one of the members of the project team isn't performing do I sulk & not give a ****? No - it's my professional duty to keep performing to the best of my abilities & lead by example

      But thats just me...
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Crouch isn't a leader. And his record off the bench speaks for itself, he can't score, he is not enough of an impact player to do that, but he should be given a run in the side, Kuyt and Voronin have had one based on nothing really, Kuyt scored twice from the spot, his first league goals since March and Voronin hasn't scored since Sunderland in the league, (I think, but don't quote me on that).

That is why he gets paid a ridiculous amount of money, to play for LFC when called upon, not be sitting on the bench without a ****ing pair of shinpads and when asked to go on the field he has to borrow a pair from somebody else. ****ING RIDICULOUS !! He is not committed to the cause, he is committed only to furthering himself and with that attitude, Rafa is right not to play him and hopefully will get rid in January. No player is bigger than the club, even a lanky **** like him !!

And if kewellnthegang is correct about the plane bust up, which I suspect he might be, then Crouch's negative attitude is rubbing off on others in the squad, and I could almost say for certain that our captain would be one of those. If I was the captain of Liverpool FC and a spiteful player said that, I would have told him to shut his ****ing mouth or I would shut it for him. Stevie is too easily corrupted by his fellow Englishman and this divide in the squad is probably the MAIN contributor to our **** form, not Rotation or tactics like some of you believe. Team morale is a massive thing in modern football and I think Rafa needs to ship players out who are affecting the positive mentality and comararderie that his Liverpool teams have been well known for over his tenure here...

People are saying he should be professional, and I agree, but at some point your frustrations will come out. We are now 3 months into the season; and other than Torres our attack appears to be misfiring, everyone can see that, especially Crouch. Naturally he's going to be annoyed he hasn't been given more time to show what he can do on the pitch.

The argument that Crouch should be thankful for what Rafa has done for his career doesn't ring true either, as it's all about perspective. Would Crouch be happy in his current role at the club if this had been happening two years ago? I'd say he would, why? Well, it would be his first season at a massive club, he had only just broken into the fringes of the England squad, and was generally regarded as a freak and a bit of a laughing stock to most Footy fans in the country... Roll on two years, he's now an established International player (with an outstanding strike rate!), he was the teams top scorer last season, and become much more high profile in the game and is well liked and respect amongst his contemporaries.

While, I don't really have a problem with what Rafa is doing, I totally understand Crouch's frustration.

The problem is he seems to think he has 'made it'. The minute you think like that, youve 'lost it'.

He's a nice guy, intelligent and modest. His career has been a gradual improvement and he's just made a name for himself on the international stage. He puts the graft in whenever he's played and he would probably accept playing 1 in every 3 games, despite a good record. He doesn't even get that, and if I were him, I'd have issues with that.

Does he though? If he is thinking he's "Bertie Big Bollocks" then fair enough.... if he's very getting frustrated through lack of any chances then I think it's understandable...

I am employed by a company. Do I have to be silent if treated unfairly, such as having inferior collegues given more responsibility? No, I don't. He hasn't once stepped out of line publically.

Has he had the oppportunity this season? I would say not. If any other player was subject the '2 crap games and you're out' policy, we'd have no-one left at the moment.

rafa made a statement a few weeks ago sayin he had i think you will find and to accept it
i am also emplyed and if my boss tells me to do something it is up to me top do it if i like it or not - within reason o course
i am not sayin i dont understand it - i think he should be playin - but imo we are at the stage where both parties cannot find a common ground.

rafa is stubborn as fook and wont lose this argument
