Why Arsenal will thrash Liverpool at Anfield
    By Myles Palmer

On Sunday, Arsenal play Liverpool at Anfield.

    I can't wait !

OK, Man United will be a different story on Saturday, November 3. They are exciting, penetrating, prolific, a team with an attack that generates a lot of ideas, pace and momentum.

Liverpoool are very dull compared to Man United and Arsenal. They don't have ideas or pace or momentum.

They lost 2-1 to Besiktas last night and that puts them bottom of Group A, without a win in three CL games.

Rafa was asked if they could win their next three games and, amazingly, he said, "If we play like today, for sure."

WHAT ? If they play like they did against Besiktas they will lose all three games !!

What is he talking about? His team is a shambles. Carragher and Hyypia are all over the place and Hyypia has scored own-goals in consecutive games. Voronin and Kuyt were hopeless as a pair, made the same runs, never got in the box, feeble and peripheral, with little service.

Arsenal have won their last 12 games and have just beaten Slavia Prague 7-0. It doesn't matter that Arsenal could not have beaten Besiktas 7-0 or Schalke 7-0 or Marseilles 7-0.What matters in that Arsenal are on a high and Liverpool are in tatters. The game is all about confidence. Football, said Ossie Ardiles, is 90% confidence.

I hope Arsene plays Theo Walcott. The lad is better as a half-striker than he is a winger. Walcott will have to play at Anfield every year for the rest of his career, so he might as well start on Sunday.

Poor old Rafa is in denial. He's spent millions and has little to show for it. He will be hoping Fernando Torres is fit for Sunday. Torres might beat Toure and bang it in the bottom corner, but only if he plays. And even if Torres does play, I still strongly fancy Arsenal to win at Anfield.

Lets look at the positives for the game on Sunday...

      1) There is no Thierry Henry any more to turn Carra to jelly and make him look a tw*t...

I think we're gonna win. In fact I know we're gonna win.

I think its a strange twist whereby our league form is going better than our European form - which is a reversal of the past couple of seasons. A reversal I've got to say - I can actually live with.
                      Liverpool born and bred.

How many times in seasons past has their 'liquid football' earnt them nowt but an early ignominious exit from Europe - I've lost count.

I hope we bore the ***** stupid and win 1-0 with a Gallas OG.

**** knows why cos I'm not far off ROCK BOTTOM but I think we'll win.

We'll certainly avoid defeat. Law of averages innit. They've won...what? 12 on the trot? No way will it continue, not at our place. I genuinely think we can take confidence from the drubbing we gave them last season.

I'd start Crouch for the same reason. They couldn't handle him and would certainly rather be facing Kuyt or Voronin.

I'll take a scruffy 1-0 and that's how I see it panning out. They'll get a shock after the walk in the park they had the other night.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I hope Hyypia don't play. He is a legend but we would not get any point(s) if he plays.

We will have a chance if Agger or Arbeloa is fit.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
