Anyone know what strengths he will bring to the table with him?
excellent telephone manor
A former business manager with BT and qualified coach, his association with the club began 12 years ago when he started assisting John Owens with the under-14 team.
I thought McParland went to Bolton as some sort of 'Director of Football'? Archie Knox was the Number 2 there.
My mistake on the no2 part, he definately took up the position tho as it mean he was going to have a more hands on position with the team and was involved more in the tactics etc, I think this will end up being a decent apointment, if it's true as he's someone that Rafa will trust
But I thought Rafa was out the door? What is he doing getting a new number 2?
G&H thought that everyone would discuss the fantastic McParland signing so much that they wouldn't notice it when they sack Rafa.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
