Roma won't change Mancini contract offer

Roma won't change Mancini contract offer
    tribalfooball.com - October 27, 2007

Roma won't alter their new contract offer to winger Amantino Mancini.

Mancini's agent, Gilmar Veloz, met with Roma officials yesterday and was tabled the same deal that Philippe Mexes agreed to last summer - £1.7 million-a-year plus bonuses.

Veloz has asked for time to reflect on the proposal and will be due back in the capital next month for a definitive meeting with Roma executive director Rosella Sensi.

Mancini's current deal expires in 2009 and he is a target for Olympique Lyon and Liverpool.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Am not sure how much he is worth transfer fee wise, but with regard to wages, he is certainly affordable.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

He will only have 18 months left on his contract in January, that will drop down the price.

£10m or so would probably be enough IMO.

He would be an excellent signing. He can play on both wings and as a wing back.

deffo, that works about 33k a week, now i'm not sure of the wage structure at the club but somewhere in the region of 40-45k could well get him

Apart from that wonderful (quadruple) stepover goal at Lyon last year can anybody honestly say they've seen much of this fella? He's done nothing in the Roma games I've seen against Man U.

We need some quality wide players desperately - whether he's of the right quality I don't know - but we need some now.

I know he's done well for Roma over the past 2 yrs, he seems to be a thrid striker for them. But do lots of teams want him? Dunno, dont think so, I think he'll end up signing again for Roma.

Nope, I don't think he is suited to the premiership.
