Saw highlights of the game last night, it really was the Pachecho show. He had about 5/6 good chances mostly created by himself by skining defenders then getting a shot away. I hate to say it but he does have abit of Messi around him in the sense of his size and the way he is direct and doesn't use any fancy tricks to beat players ala Ronaldo or Ronoldinho he just seems to glide past em.

We played an attacking team with Amoo and Eccleston on the wings and Nemeth and Pachecho upfront. Nemeth missed the best chance of the game when the ball was cut back to him but he couldn't apply the finish.

Dissapointing result but an impressive display of attacking football just lacked the killer finishing.

what was that other kid like, the prodigy 14 yr old Evertonian?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Anyone got any links to a clip of this? Would really like to see more of the Under 18s, we seem to have some real talent in that age group.

If you have LFC TV it is on about about 6 o'clock.

Adam Pepper? I thought he came on for the under 18s last week. or have I missed a development? He's still only 15 or 16 so not being rushed through the ranks.
According to Dave Usher on theliverpoolway website he plays for the u16s.
